About Me & My Pets

Hi, I'm Bree. I'm from a small island off the coast of British Columbia called Haida Gwaii. I spent my childhood and teen years in the beautiful town of Port Clements where my love of photography started. I spent a lot of my free time doing photoshoots with my best friends and taking photos of my dog. I have now been doing photography for 7 years and could not imagine life without it; capturing all of the details and emotions in my photographs is one of the reasons I love and want to share it with others. Being able to capture your special moments and bring a smile to your face is why I love this job so much. I am now offering my services in Cranbrook B.C and the East Kootenays!

This is my dog, Atlas. I got him in 2022 during Covid and he became my sidekick and photography muse. Atlas grew up in the same town as me and enjoyed playing in the ocean and on beach. We spent pretty much all of our free time in the wilderness exploring. Atlas has moved all the way across B.C with me and has accompanied me on all of my adventures since. Although he does really miss the ocean, the lakes do suffice. Always ready to strike a pose, he is the soul of my business and the reason that I have fallen in love with dog photography!

This is Bug, my Kitten! He is the newest member to our pack and has been such a bundle of fun. Bug has taught me patience in more ways than one, especially in my photography. Being spoiled with my dog that would do anything I ask of him, a kitten on the other hand has quite an opinion on being told to sit still. I believe this has improved my photography tremendously by teaching me to search for those delicate moments in more fast moving subjects.

This is Apollo, my first ever horse. He has been with me for 6 years now and he has taught me so much, one of which is being resilient. Our first couple of years together were like navigating the wilderness without a map. We were learning together and doing so through trial and error. After I had a major accident where I nearly broke my spine, I was actually told by my doctor that maybe I should " get rid of him " because we just weren't a proper match. For awhile, I almost believed him. 4 years later, we have moved all the way across BC and I could not imagine life without him. He is what some might call my heart horse. He has taught me resilience, to never give up on what matters most, and that some things just take time. For that I will forever be grateful.
